A needle in my eye
Just to make sure I’m alive
This pain has taken over me
It is what I have come to be
I feel so numb
I forget that I’m alive
I wonder if you’d care
If I were just to die
Behind every scar there is a face
A face that caused me such disgrace
What’s it like to be happy
You seem to know more than me
It’s been so long
Why can’t you see
Fake smiles are staring to ware on me
I’m living in such misery
This can’t be who I’m meant to be
I’ll stab myself to make sure I’m still alive
Nothing is what I feel
Numb is what I’ve become
This pain has taken over me
It’s what I have come to be
