A Love Torn Apart

All alone, I sit here
Watching stars collide
Wanting to call out his name
So he'd come here by my side
But my heart is still hurt
My mind is confused
I'm afraid of risk-taking
For this love I may lose
Another's voice haunts me
I love its sound as well
My heart wrenches in pain
For on memories I dwell
Am I forsaken, love?
Do you you remember my kiss?
Could you hold me in your arms
And stay forever like this?
I know I love you
I swear to God that I do
But time has ruined us
It's time we start anew
We belong together
I knew that all along
I'm sorry you were hurt
But my heart still longs
To hold your hand
Kiss like the old days
Hold you in my arms
And chase our fears away

Someday we'll rest
Together side by side
And you will tell me
"I've always loved you deep inside"

I will always love you.
