His Window

He sits there, all alone on his bed
The room is dark, except for his door way
No one home, but him self
He could hear the wind blow hard against the trees
As there’s a screeching noise outside the window
A shadow of a knife, a shadow of a person
He could hear nothing but the scream of death
Right outside his window, he thought that it wasn’t true
Shaking and shivering of all the horror
While standing up, slowly walking to his window
Quickly and quietly he shuts the blinds so that no one can see him
Sweat drops scurry down his face
He can’t take it, the murder of another
Just outside his window, was a killer
Time went by faster and faster
Soon it was morning, with light and all
He looked out his window, to see nothing
