* THIS POEM HAS BEEN REVISED *

Little Cindi
is a teen of only 15
Her life ended in a tragedy

Little Cindi had the life everybody wanted....
Head Cheerleader
Straight A’s
The perfect family
The perfect child

No one knew why this beautiful Child
With bouncing blonde curls and blue eyes
Had such a tragic end

No one knew what she hid
Behind those piercing blue eyes
That could look through your soul
With one quick look
But showed no door in
Keeping it all in

All the tears
That she cried
Hiding under the covers
The hours she stood in front of that mirror
Seeing the imperfections
The monster she believed she became...

The world was too much for her.
To demanding
Wanting more then she could give
Always making her into something
She didn’t want to be.

So, she looked for the easiest escape
The problem solver
She thought would make everything all better...

To end her pain.
She left her suicide note.
Held the gun to her head
And the one shot that ended it all
Was heard all through the house..

The perfect home that is no longer perfect
Her problem now solved
And now her parents stand there dumbfounded
Wondering what they did wrong
To make their daughter another Teen Suicide.
