Lies keep you busy
to believe what's not the truth
So many times we've told you
when all the time you knew.

You still refuse to believe
the truth so vaguely clear
All he does is hurt you
he IS the thing you fear.

Why can't you see
that his 'love' is superficial?
Your emotions are not important
you're so set on blind refusal.

Love is what you want
which he does not provide
all he has to do is lie
and you are satisfied.

Friends are no longer important
he is all you need
but when his so called 'love' runs out
what a lonely life you'll lead.

One thing that jars me most
is you know what I say is true
but still you refuse to accept
that he does not love you.

His lies have scarred your heart
obsession is already here
your hope of future love
is so vividly unclear.

His pleasure is important
not his lover's heart
So why are you allowing him
to tear your life apart?

Friendship conquers all
so to my advice take heed
friends are always there for you
and they are all you need.
