We Are Sorry J.C.

That day you were at school
and left early to go home.
We never knew it was to be
your last breathe at that school.
You sat in your classes
as you did everyday.
With not a care in the world,
but to get out of school.
We still aren't sure
what happened on that afternoon.
All we know is you went home
and we never saw you again.
Some say it was a phone call
others say just pure anger,
that led you to shoot yourself.
You didn't have to though.
I hope you know that.
You had way to much to be proud of.

Looking back on all the memories
from Elementary, Middle, and the few weeks of High School
I realize there were things I could have did to help ease the pain.
But its too late now.
Now your gone.
Why did you do it, WHY?
Did you not think
of all of the people that love you.
Your mom can't take it anymore
and your dad well he is trying to hold strong.
Your friends at school have cried
all day and all night.
We miss you and we are sorry we couldn't stop you!
