Mother to me is not just a word
It’s a whole person and feeling
It’s a person that is there for you
No matter how hurt or sick you are feeling.

Mother to me is an adult to look up to
Who will always be your friend
They will always love and care for you
Until the very end.

Mother to me is the person that brought you into this world
It’s the person kisses away all of your tears
As they watch you grow up
All through the years.

Mother to me is a wonderful person
Who you can always run to
Mother to me does have a meaning
And you will always know they love you too.
