Why can’t they see?
I’m just like everyone
Trying to live life, as it should be
As happy and peaceful as it needs to get done.
~*~
What difference does it make?
If I’m gay or if I’m straight
The feelings you try to take
Will never leave on any date
~*~
Freedom was won for you and me,
As many men risked their lives
For one country untied so we can see
Beyond the walls of prejudice dives
~*~
I stand here and say
Discrimination vanish on this very day
Where I am not different because I’m gay
