~I know this needs work but tell me what you think of it so far~

In the summer filled midnight air
I saw him just standing there
Waiting for me

He was 20 I was 17
There couldn’t have been a better team
Cause we were in love

He would hold me tightly
Kiss me gently
Whisper sweet nothings in my ear

We were happier than anyone could be
Dreaming of our future
Planning the next few years

And then he pulled out the ring
He said,” Honey, baby, I love you dear
Can’t you see me standing here
Won’t you spend the rest of your life with me?”

Now it’s finally our wedding day
And I am more than ready to say “I do”
With my white dress flowing long
Soon we’ll dance to our favorite song

I’ve never loved another
Like I love you
I’ve waited till a time like this
And honey, now that it’s our wedding night
I give myself to you
