I sit at my desk,
Day in and day out.
Thinking of the one I love,
The one I always need.
But he is the one who is not here,
He will never be with me.
I try to erase his face,
Along with every memory of him.
No matter whether they are the good,
Or even the few bad ones.
With the last memory of him,
Floating there through my mind
I decide to keep just this one.
I don’t want to be a girl,
With no past to remember.
No longer do I sit at my desk,
Only thinking of him.
I can move on any day,
But as long as I take,
This one last memory with me.
