She used to spin the moonlight with her fingertips
Her eyes would twinkle silently as she held me in her hand
Weaving dreams and thoughts that always mirrored mine,
She had a way with words and a certain sense of grace
That lured me to her side before I even knew her name.
She reminded me of moonrise and the summer dragonflies
Whispers by candlelight and walking in the rain
In my blindness I tripped and fell for her,
Trapped by the web that she spun for me
Lost in her arms and perpetually drowning in her eyes.
