the bridge to my place
my space
has given out under me
I have no more words
to want what they do of me
ive lost my pen-men ship
along the side of the river
the banks are swollen and
the current stiff
im the only one that wants to break the current
and run with it
the only one that should matter
but I guess knowing
your going the wrong way
doesnt make it ok
I see the horizon take the skys breath away
I know were I can end this
but I lost my only way to express it
ive lost my muse and
dont know where to find it
just know that I left it on the banks
the shore
and any where else I know I cant go
the horizon is starting to dip
below the horizon is where the current will
stop calm
wrong
soaked in cool aftermath
wrong to the last curve of saintly black
hills of liquid fault

I cant fight what I cant feel
cant write what I dont know
ill get back to you when
its to late and the shore is gone
the sand is so
tastefully, uneasily
