Dreams I’ll never know
They seem so far away
I don’t know what they are
But my heart does

Nothing seems right here
My cry’s for help fall upon deaf ears
Will I ever find happiness
Cause it seems so far away

Love got lost on it’s way to me
And friends just aren’t what they used to be

These bags have been packed for so long
I’ve been ready to go from the beginning

I have to go away
In search of my dreams
In search of happiness
In search of love
In search of the real me

I’ll never forget who I’ll leave behind
Though they may forget me
I won’t forget what mother taught me
And I won’t forget that Jesus loves me

I’ve been trapped for far to long
In an empty life
Living with strife

God help me get there safe
Though I don’t know where I’m going
Keep the ones behind from harm
And let them know I love them
But I have to go now
I’ll call when I find it all

It’s time for me to leave now
