A Snow Globe Thought

Imagine what it would be like to live in a globe of snow
The silent nights and longing days
And no where else to go!
Nothing to do and no one to see
All alone in your little log cabin
And if you’re lucky, you might have a tree
You mind your own business day after day
When suddenly it’s picked up!
Your eyes full of dismay
Shaken about like you’re on a tilt-o-whirl!
Your world it is broken
Just from one little twirl
Finally it stops and you open your eyes
Expecting the worst
But you see something magical to your surprise
You see the snow falling gently to the ground
It’s beauty at its best
And you smile without a sound.
