Your blood runs through my veins
As mine does yours
A single slit on both our arms
Entwined our souls forever
The stinging sweetness
Wide smear of red
Amazing how a few lone drops of blood
Can fill an empty heart
I'm not complete
But I'm more than nothing now
You have revived me
And I am happy again.
