Broken,weary,sad and torn
My heart has been pierced by your lies like a bloody thorn
In solitude I often mourn
Trusting in you hurts, It leaves me crying
The thron you pierced me with has left me dying
You told me you would catch me when I fall
But i Hit the ground with barely enough strength to crawl
I quieted my sobs to see if you'd remember me,maybe just give me a
call
But I was out of hope, you no longer care, I have no where to turn
I felt my whole body begin to burn
Deceit and betrayal whispered laughingly in my ear that now I'd learn
With no other way out I reached out to grab the promising pills...I took
five
You had convinced me I no longer had a reason to be alive
I felt death trickly down my throat
Soon I would have no more heavy burdens to tote
Slowly I was slipping into eternity
I let go of the ring that you had given me
And it clinked and hit the floor
You walked through the door
To discover that your wife lives no more
I was broken, weary, sad and torn
My heart was pierced my your lies like a bloody thorn
But, In solitude I no longer mourn
