The sunrise sings of twilight dreams
Because it’s Thursday in my head
The moon jingles her bells on the deserted corner
While the fog whispers in her ear
Of silent terrors that lurk in the morning light
And the despair that arrives with the fading of stars.
Your sandals are humming as your eyelashes shine,
Glittering with the taste of the day
You gaze into my mind and I can’t try to hide
The fog is disappearing and I’m here for you to see.
