his face never meets mine

I take in life sprawled beneath me
my feet glide longingly
glistening anger tastes the best in me
the last leaf on my willow bends
slams to the ground
graceful absence

only purpose I?ve found in the binds of the fairy tale my toes sweep back
and forth
rope tight
purple hazing
my light was eager to spread exhales
release
with each swoop my feet complete my mind slowly frees of me
drops of lusty aftermath
flow
collect
beneath my swaying feet
the regret looking good enough to eat
my fingers
linger
the morning dew comes early
cool meadows spill over the hills with a new ease
a new birth
my mother sits on her knees
my father looks away
the rope gives in and my limp solid figure spills life all over the floor
still my fathers shoulders block his face
block his face
his neck only turned one way
I left him on the wrong side
I wanted him to devour my sinful smile
sinful bliss
and mistake it for regret
so he can open the leather bind every night and believe he?s living for
something right
so zealous
he'd refuse to say
good bye
just a mere see you there
if only he knew the shade of my mind
the path of my doubtful blood soaked
mesmerizing eyes
he?d love to pray the morning dew dry
dismiss the rain in my thirsty eyes...
my veins lay drinking on the vain unwelcome glaze of board unsurprised in
his eyes....
