As He takes my hand
my mortal life gives away
My body is gone
what a wonderful day
with Angels, I ascend
to a higher, Heavenly place
It is Him I seek
His love, His Grace
As I walk through the gates
My spirit revives
He welcomes me home
His death for my life
He anoints my face
I am fully healed
He has delivered me from
the murky battlefields
I sing sweet praises
In Jesus' name
I've watched Him heal the sick
and bless the lame
I fight no more
the transgressions of life
I now live eternally
with my sweet Christ.....
