shattered heart

There it lays on the floor,
Love is not here anymore,
My heart is shattered to pieces,
The little parts are in the creases of the floor,
As I slam the door,
And walk out on you,
Now I am ten shades of blue,
And six shades of red,
This moment I did dread,
I could see it in your eye,
And now I can’t help but cry,
Because you saw the love I had for you,
And still you remained untrue,
So I shall sit here all alone,
Waiting on the phone,
Waiting for it to ring,
And it be your voice ready to sing,
Sing to me so delicately,
And then I can once again breathe,
A sigh of relief,
Now I need your love,
To glue my shattered heart back together,
And lord help me if you run around on me again,
Because then I will stab you in the heart with my pen,
And then I shall be over you.
