The moment you think of her,
that hurt returns like a miracle
second lightning strike;
When she went off the cliff-
you saw her sailing, but not
like you envisioned it-
Twirling like a leaf falling from a
tree branch-waiting for the
ground to suck it up like an
invisible vacuum-
I watched the still bent ledges
lean in and pull out playing
games with the wind-
I can think back to that day,
when your last words, so...so
impressed me-
"If ever you get a chance to fly
before me, please don't
hesitate to jump"
