Do you like me, too?

I see you on the other side of the room.
Not wanting to stare,
I occasionally glance
And catch your eye

You’re looking back at me,
Every now and then.
I blush slightly
And turn away.

What I don’t get is
If you act like you like me
Why didn’t you ask me
To the dance?

We both went,
But not together.
We both danced,
But not together.

Why do this?
Maybe I should just
Give up
Forever.

Cuz I see my friends
Trying to hook you up
With the more popular girls.
But you wont take them either.

Maybe
You’re one of those very few guys
That look for the perfect girl
So they wont have to go out with a whole bunch
Until they find that girl

But I just want to know
Why I’m not that girl.
What do you not like about me?
Tell me, I’ll fix it.

All I know
Is you’re funny, nice, and
Pretty much outgoing.
I like that.

I’m funny, nice, shy.
Almost perfect.
But you can’t expect perfect
From anyone.
