I just want to see,
I just want to say,
I just want to feel,
All that you “know”.

I want to be,
The person I need,
When I look in the mirror,
At the reflection of me.

Nobody gets how it is,
Nobody cries the tears
I’ve become friends with.
Nobody shakes,
Because their body is dieing,
Nobody sees my mind that is lying.

My words,
They don’t tell a thing,
I must say to protect,
Not say to believe.
My eyes will reflect the truth that’s in me,
But if you don’t look deep,
You won’t see a thing.

You can “say” that you are this,
You can “ say” that you are that,
But if you are just saying, you’re not feeling,
None of it.

You can say all you want about what I am,
But you won’t
ever know,
What my open eyes see,
What my mind screams,
And what I believe.

The crave,
Just to be thin,
You won’t ever feel,
Unless you’ve been where I am.
