Deny us now these fallen words

Tired eyes have seldom seen
The truth beneath the light
Between these lies we'll find the seem
Where faith and love collide

Forgotten hopes and misplaced dreams
Together they pave the way
Tomorrows come yet fade to gray
It's dying wish was to stay

We find ourselves before our god's
As an audience to their decay
"Free yourselves you blinded fools"
we naive ones contemplate

Deny us now these fallen words
a curse which damns the soul
For when we end, we'll never rest
Since this hollow body has no home.

Pagan riddles will plague such men
Bringing death unto his name
Immortal thoughts, a dogma's sin
Where the end of things will wait
