Solitude is a part of me
even if its my hearts reckoning
i never seen the sun's setting
in this life of mine thats shedding
then you came willing
to be with me forever
i took you out
you made me happy
all the time people shout
you were there, smiling quietly
i loved you for that
and i thought you loved me too
but i was wrong
you threw me down
and i kept falling
then you turned and walked away
with not even a frown
but when i said
"love you always and today"
i wasn't kidding
i still love you
but i can never more tell you
because i'm still falling
