A Cut Too Deep

Dearest Mommy,
I made a mistake,
I cut too deep,
The blood won't stop.

I rapped on your door,
To say I'm sorry,
And that I love you,
To tell you I want to live.

You told me not now,
Go away, ask again later.
Later isn't soon enough,
It's going to be too late.

I need you now,
To help me through this,
To take back my mistake.

Please help me mommy,
Before it is too late.
Emerge from your room,
See me on my bed,
Blood Blossoming from my wrist
And staining my bed.

Share my mistake,
Tell the world.

And always remember,
I love you,
I love you mommy.
