Maybe the trees could shake down the leaves,
Leaves that’s brillance will chase away my screams.
Maybe the wind could be a bit stronger,
So I could float right into the water.
Maybe the sky could glaze a bright blue,
A blue diamond cloud,
So all I see is you.
Maybe the morning,
Could hum myself anew,
Though it wouldn’t last long,
Because it would have to end soon.
Maybe the ocean could flood me inside,
Help me forget,
And leave me blind.
Maybe the moon,
Could toss me a star,
So I can choke,
And die brightly,
And warm at heart.
Maybe the rain could chill my bones,
Shake my skin off,
And leave me the thin person I die to show.
Maybe just maybe is all I have left,
No more strength,
Just tears,
And my breath.
