I want you so bad
its hard to even say
how many times I think about you
during the process of my day

I didn’t realize it till now
how much I really care
about all the things we could have
and all the memories to share

through the years
you have always been around
but never really focused on
just standing in the background

I feel it when you’re here
I know it when we kiss
that I am truly happy
I can unclinch my fists

you see things differently
you don’t really get upset
your philosophy is simple
you get what you get

I see you in my mind
My mind drives me to the edge
I just want you in my arms
laying in your bed

I know you feel the same
but something holds us back
from exploring the days together
from feeling the love we lack
