You loved her with all your heart,
i loved you with a friendship so strong.

I told you i was happy for you and her,
i lied,
i offered my heart,
only to you,
how much i cared,
but you couldnt give up what you had with her.

She would say she loved you,
with a frown on your face,
you answered with a lie of,
i love you's.

At the beginning of the end,
she would give her heart,
and you would answer with a simple,
i know.

Now you might think i got what i had wanted for oh so long,
but,
no,
i gave up on love,
and now alone.
