for every cloud in the sky my heart bleeds your name deep in the snow

for every fluttering free bird loving in the wind and riding life my eyes
blink full of flat tears waiting for this phase to go

for every petal on every yellow tulip my fingers burn remorse threw the
sheets we set goals on

for every red light and stop sign that I rested my eyes on you theres just
enough to fill the sky I am wandering threw
blazing under
writing I love you on my roof
in a mid summer nights dream
the peaches in my garden grow bruised
black and blue enough to be angry with you....

the stars look smaller from up here
the night swallows the light
adoreing the drama
the wind bellows mistakes in my face
burning with the stars glare
ill write another long poem for the one i swore id let go
like the trees leaves
glideing freely towards the next risen sun
like a new after every night
fresh light will i hold
inhale
exhale
soon ill learn to deserve this burden
so cold
shame on you for giving me enough pain to fill the nights angry fists...
shame on me for closing my eyes so tightly when we kissed..
