You held my hand in the pouring rain
you walked me home
and it all began.
You took away all my fears, and pain
you looked at me deeply in the eyes
and pulled me in with your arms so tight.
Gave me a hug around my hips
and innocently kissed me upon my lips
you said everything was to be allright
now that we had eachother in our lives.
Sounds so sweet
sounds so right
then i awake to such this fright
the sound of my alarm clock.
I came to realize,
the only time i had you, was in my dream, at night.
