It seems I've screwed it up again
Just like I did before
I never seem to please you
Each day you're wanting more

You treat me like I know nothing
When I do the best I can
It doesn't make me worthless
Just because I don't fit into your plan

You say than I can do better
That it's all in fun
But how can I enjoy this
If you force me to be number one.

I am who I am
And that's all I can be
So stop trying to change this
I can't be something that's not me.

I see that I can't change you
After all these needless trials
Because in your eyes
I'm just an ignorant child
