Contemplation

I wish I could die,
Then I would try,
In the twitch of a finger,
Against a trigger,
I would be no more,
Brains galore,
Parents weeping,
Grandparents sleeping,
Friends mourning,
Brother moping,
Enemies cheering,
Girl friends not believing.
Laying cold,
In my room,
On my bed,
The gun still lies,
I am still here,
Sitting in my chair,
Thinking of all who would care,
Debating what I should do,
I think I might grab me a brew,
And sleep on this until the morning,
By then I hope I get these thoughts out of my head.
