Stolen Innocence

I am going under;
falling through my past
breaking the wall I hide behind
realizing life stores more than any man.
I won't be broken to nothing
before him I was free of loss
unleashed of jealously and anger.
I tore through the pages
ripping my lost beginnings of love;
roses they sent me in the mail.
The petals that were once red
turned to black, stoned and old.
The words he said to cover-up
the hurtful lies that he had been cheating from the beginning.
He knew he had me under his wings;
while mine had been burned of innocence.
He took it all from me in just a few weeks.
I got lost in his charming ways;
his sweet kisses on my lips
his gentle words moving me along with him,
I was his thrill for the moment........
mine.... was just falling in love with him.
