Hello Love

Hello love,
tis been a while.
I miss you so.
It's hard without you,
so cold, and lonely.
Our love still burns
inside of me,
and I say a prayer
for you each night.
The tears still come
so easily,
and I will always wonder why.
It's hard to sleep at night now,
but I'll be just fine,
you'll see.
I still talk to you
and I know you hear me.
Sometimes I get mad,
and say things to you I shouldn't,
though I know it's not your fault.
I dream of how things could've been,
intstead of learning the reality
that is.
It makes no sense,
so I guess that's why I hold on
with all my might
and never let you go.
You memory will go on forever,
and your dreams will love
through me.
Everything you hoped to do
I will do now, for you.
I will pass on your story
to generations after you.
I will remember you always
and never forget.
I love and miss you
so dearly,
but I know you are
in heaven.
Now that you've caught a glimpse of heaven,
I could never wish you back to this hell.
I'm just glad that you
didn't have to suffer
and you are better off now anyway.
I love you too much to say goodbye,
so for now, I'll see you later.
I'll see you in heaven someday,
I know,
If only I can wait that long..
