Dying to be Dead

My veins bursting
Every cell in my body dying to be dead

My wrist tinglng
Anticipating the sweet smoothness of the knife
It does not fear
For I am numb from pain

I feel the blood
The tears
And that is all
And then the knife it fits perfectly into my skin

It does not hurt for more than a few seconds
It used to sting and bleed so much
Now it knows what's coming
And it welcomes it

It is my will,my way
You do not understand,understandably
My pain it is a barrier
Keeping me from nomalcy

This blood does not stain
It does not hurt
It does not matter
It is my own

I know this longing to bleed is wrong
It is sick, twisted, and lost on you
But this is my truth
My choice,my pain

My veins bursting
Every cell in my body dying to be dead
