One October Night

One chilly October night
I decided to tell him the truth
I called and said we needed to meet
I thought my plan was fool proof.

Out the basement door I went
To meet him in his car.
He asked where I wanted to go,
I responded "Not too too far."

His house was only five minutes away
So I agreed without a complain
But when we got there we went inside
I started wondering if I was sane.

If I tell him this, he might
Never talk to me again
But then on the other hand
Our love for each other might once more begin.

So I started off by telling him
That my love for him had never died
And that when I said I was over him
I was telling a lie.

How I loved him with all my heart
In every single way
And how i'd do anything for him
Any time, any day.

Right then he cut me off
And said he loved me too
He leaned over and gave me a hug
From my eyes, tears came poring through.

Now wipeing the tears from my face
He asked if he could show
Show me how much he "loved" me
My morals and belief's I let go.
