The coffin

The coffin is the representation
Of the death of you and me
Of all the blood we shed
And all the blood they can see
With the stains left on the bed
The sharp edges made the mark
And the pain took the life
The depression tore us apart
And made us strife
Strife for happiness
And for life itself
Hope of godliness
And the ghost in the door dwelt
He came to take us away
And to take us to our eternity
All because of the coffin
That now holds you and me
Inside the devil is laughing
For he has stolen 2 more lives
And the rain falls into the sea
While the tears fall from god’s eyes
And I despise this box I lay in
That has ended it all for the two of us
Because it shows my every sin
And let out our every cuss.
