the game

We had everything set up to be friends forever,
But you thought you would be clever,
You tried to play this stupid game,
Girl, don’t you have any shame?
You frustrate me more than most,
Sometimes I think you are just a ghost,
Sent here from the heavens to annoy me,
All I want to do is plea,
Lord let me be.
Can’t you see,
This game you play,
Is going to bite you on you’re a$$ some day,
And I don’t want no b!tching, crying, or screaming,
So babe, just keep going,
You gained a lot ground,
But what goes around comes around,
And you will get yours in the end,
I can see it just around the bend,
All I can hope for is that I make it up for all those before me,
And clear away the debris,
Girl, your like a drug,
You treat me like a rug,
Yet I still come back for more,
I am like your personal errand whore,
And its not like I don’t still love you,
You just broke my heart in two,
I still want something between us,
But I just want to be the bus,
That knocks some sense into you,
Then I will be the glue,
That brings you back together,
Better than ever,
And then we can be one,
And this game will be done.
