Missing the Two Meanings

Death disguised
As scarlet, vinyl, and tasteful
The only red in a winter
Else is lost and cold
A mystery surrounds the beauty clad
In the color of her mourning

She doesn’t see you
But she is aware of your stares
She listens to her own heart beating
But is thinking of someone
Whose heart is no longer fair
What did she do wrong?
She doesn’t care about you.

Death disguised
As sorry tears
On a pallid face
With rose red lips
Apple taste
A mystery surrounds this town
But no one will ever learn of her fate

She doesn’t see you
She never opens her eyes
She listens to nothing
And only sees the space of the endless time
