SHE WALKED ALONE

She walked alone in misery,
down her dark life path
nothing of worth ahead
nothing memorable in the past

anxiety rising up inside her
as rockets to the sky
all the time she's thinking
i just want to lie here and die

momentum to go on is lost
no longer striving to hold on,
she takes a knife to her heart
and says her final soleum words

goodbye mother father
i know you dont mind
you never seemed to care
so i your burden, shall depart

depart from the hate
depart from the misery
depart from you
and all the hurtfull world

and with that last word
she thrust the knife into her
falling to the ground
abandoning her hated life
waiting to be found

then and hour later
her parents arrive home
with her little sister running in
sayyin sisi sisi! mom got you a phone!

her little sister comes upon her dear sister
stops dead in her tracks
looks down at her and says
"sisi wake up! were back!"

the girl who thought no one cared
didnt even move a inch
not one single word said
sensing something was wrong this little girl cries
mom dad come look at sissi!

frantic of their daughters cry her parents enter the room
gaze at there little daughter the look of confusion on her face
mom starts sobbing, wondering why the alone girl would do this to herself
she leaves the room speechless
not knowing what to say

the dad goes up to the little girl
and sets her on his lap
and says im sorry hunny
but your sister im afraid is dead

with a nod this young girl gets up
tears running down her cheek
some how she understood
that her sister, her idol, jus couldnt go on

her mother comes back into the room
where her eldest daughter is lying dead
looks at her husband crieing

i cant believe she would do such a foolish thing she says
as to think we dont love her
and to just put it all to a end
she coulda talked to us, even to her sister, she woulda found out that now
we will always miss her.
