I lie here and watch this fairy tale nightmare crumble around me
As you slowly strangle me,
Watching my eyes glaze over and slip into an endless phantasm,
Your dream.
I see your smile as I stare into the back of my mind
And yet, I can’t cry.
At least I lived to make somebody happy.
