Looking In Your Eyes

When I look into your eyes,
I see through to your soul.
The beauty of them justifies,
your pureness as a whole.

Hazed over with confusion,
and neverending fear.
I've come to the conclusion,
that I'm looking in a mirror.

Tears begin to break my trance,
because I feel your pain.
I decide to take one more glance,
curious as to what else they may contain.

They begin to tell me a story,
of a father who would not love enough.
He acknowledged none of your glory,
and made life for you, very rough.

Your eyes fill with sadness,
as they tell your tale.
I wish I could caress
your soul which is now frail.

It's so easy to be seen,
all hte emotions in your eyes.
How could somebody be so mean,
and not even realize?

Yet somehow overpowering ever other emotion,
is love, trust, and honesty.
I now feel devotion
because you've filled me with all three.

So many things are concealed,
But I have come to realize,
That everything is revealed,
When I look into your eyes.
