Laying there
Your body so cold
Kept in your mothers arms
Silence of death fills the air

Trinkles of water run across my cheek
Gleaming onto your emotionless face
Memories come back slowly
Fading like a dream

You were a precious angel
Your beautiful blue eyes so innocent
Little did we know how much time we would have with you
God must have picked you
Just a few

Out of all the people in the world
He wanted you as his angel
Your face no longer emotionless
In heaven you will smile
Dancing around beyond the gates

Yet we are left here
Solemn in grief
Looking at where you lay
People saying Doesn't she look beautiful today?

Yet I'll never see you smile again
Your eyes light up and crinkle at the corners
Her eyes will never open again
Until the day

The day mother and baby will be reunited again
Comfort will fill the air
Hearing the angels play harps in the background

The tears will be on her face again
Not tears of grief but joy
In her mothers arms again
She will sleep for eternity

*my cousins baby passed away about 2 weeks ago at the age of 2 yrs old, she
was our family's beautiful angel, she will always be, but she'll
be gods beautiful angel too, We love her so much*
