Letting Go

These moods, they never go
Never cease, never slow
Makes me want to end my life
So say goodbye to my one last sight
My time has come
It’s time to go , I have expired
The knife in my pocket, feelings it knowing my fate
I ask to leave and you let me go
One person sees something wrong but ignores me as they work
Everyone stares as I walk back in
I take my seat knowing my time is about to end
I’m becoming tired and starting to fade
My face is pale, my eyes close shut
You realize something is wrong as I’m about to go
You try to help but it’s to late, I’m almost gone
You see the bloodstains on my shirt and realize what I have done
Saving me is not an option but you try to think faster so I do not go
I won’t let myself hold on and I keep falling deeper into my eternal rest
I know I’ll be there soon, but you won’t let it happen
The class runs out, they cannot bear to see my dieing
I wrote a not that explains it all and lay it upon my book
I can feel it , I’m almost there
I try to hold on a little longer
Realizing I can’t, with my one last breath I say goodbye to everyone
My soul lifts out, I see you all crying
I try to heal your pain, try to let you all know I am happier
I’m just sorry I let go to soon
