I Love You

You are my whole.
You’re my love, my air.
Living with you
Grants me no despair.
Thoughts of you
Flood into my mind.
Is this from God?
A wondrous sign?
When you’re gone
My life doesn’t move.
Not a moment with you,
Do I want to lose.
My heart is yours,
And yours alone.
Our love’s so strong,
It moves the greatest stones.
I love you so much,
When you’re by my side.
But when you’re not,
I want to run and hide.
Because my love is yours.
I mean that, too.
Why else would I say
That I love you?
