a poem about loving you

Yeah I could’ve bought you something
But it wouldn’t be enough
How could I say I love you?
With just plain stuff
Yea I should’ve bought you something,
But I’m crazy in the head
So I wrote a poem
About you instead
It’ll tell you how I love you,
It’ll tell you how I feel
It’ll tell you everything,
Yes the real deal
I love it when you hold me
I love it when we kiss
I hate it when your not around
Because something feels amiss
I love it when you say sweet things
Because it makes me blush
I love it when you sing to me
And my heart turns to mush
I love it when you think it’s cute
That I trip all the time
And yes I have to tell you
These are all sappy lines
I can’t help who I love
I can’t help that I love you
I can’t help that the grass is green
Or that the sky’s blue
I know it’s really sappy
I know it’s kind of weird
But this is how I really feel
Yes I’m positive every word is true
I may be clumsy I may be shy
But I’m in love with you
