Everythings gone wrong
In a world so full of hate
We all seem to long
For our one true fate
We wait and we wait
For the end to approach
Longing to see what's in store
For the next tiny roach
We're all specks of dust
Lost in the end
For after awhile
Each moment that we lend
Is lost to the sands
That stand for the time
As moments pass by
We all slowly die
You can't be angry
At each second that was lived
For not all of them were bad
But some were so great
And you didn't have to conform to the 'fad'
Not every second of life
Was wasted with dreams of being perfect
And living to the expectations of that of our elders
Believe it or not
Some of your dreams were accomplished
Whether it be passing a test
Or dating that boy
You know the one
You always acted so coy
You'll never believe of all of the dreams you accomplished
Because we all take them for granted
So as you sit on your porch
Rocking back and forth
Waiting for the second
And your heart seems to stop
Think of every moment
And you'll realize
You actually accomplished a lot
