There's Nothing Left

Her eyes they close upon her cloud,
She thinks she’s found her free,
Cloud declines as tears of blood,
And there’s nothing left to see.

Spreads her wings, attempts to fly,
Wishing for a smile to steal,
How could she fly through oceans blind?
And there’s nothing left to feel.

For she took her life oblivious,
To the price she’d have to pay,
Alone she drifts to naught of all,
And there’s nothing left to say.

Soul flows entwined in endless voids,
Eyes eternally closed, never to rest,
Transparency taking over now,
Of this soulless soul there’s nothing left.
