Visions flashing through shadowed eyes,
Futures watched with saddened tears,
A love seen fading through deadly cries,
As reality grasps all her deepest fears.

Her darkest nightmare coming true,
On the highway of love, so fast it’s untrue,
She realises now that she’s losing you,
There’s not a single thing in this world she can do.

She gave you her heart in but a thin case of glass,
Giving all power of destruction to you,
She knows you can break her in but a mere flash,
But with all who she is, she’s trusting you.

Her heart slipping uncertain from careless hands,
But she won’t stop believing in you,
She’s falling not knowing just where she will land,
Falling deeper and deeper in love with you.
